Water Feed to Endoscope Washers
Andrew Fifield of Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust sought Fielder’s help whilst managing the estates at Cheltenham General Hospital. Usage of another supplier’s water filters up front of the endoscope washers on site had led to raised total viable count (TVC) results, on the feed water to the automated endoscope reprocesser (AER) washers.
Fileder offered their Premier Pleat Glass Fibre (PPG) and Premier Pleat Polyethersulfone (PPPES) cartridges to go up front of the AERs and the TVC Counts reduced back to zero.
Andrew stayed with the Fileder filters during his time at Cheltenham General Hospital and now utilises the filters on the same application at Cirencester and Stroud Hospitals.
