Many food sites need protection from 'Crypto' which is a resilient parasite that causes gastroenteritis in the young, old and immunocompromised. Product make-up water is used in the production of sauces / syrups as a finished product and as part of a ready meal, making dough for bread / pizza production, margarines, cheese and ice-creams.
Filtration of oils and syrups (both as a finished product such as cooking oils, rape seed oils or as part of the production process such as crisp manufacturing or deep frying where the oils would be filtered before re-use).
Flavours and colourants (solid removal and polishing for both production and final product).
To produce dried or powdered milk, the skimmed milk is first passed through a separator, which removes the cream. The milk that is left then goes into a condenser with the condensed milk then going into a spray drier to produce the powdered milk, the non-condensed stream from the condenser passes through a Reverse Osmosis System (RO) to produce clean water and the concentrate as added back into the feed line to the spray drier.
