How Do Media Cartridges Work
Media cartridges are placed within a filter housing, removing contaminants as water flows through the cartridge. The filtered fluid then exits the housing on the other side, leaving treated water ready for its use.
Each cartridge contains a specific media that reacts with or removes certain contaminants. For example, our softening resin cartridges can remove calcium and magnesium, which reduces the hardness of water. Deionising cartridges remove ions for pure water, and heavy metal cartridges remove lead, zinc, mercury, copper, and chromium for safer water.
