The most common applications for POU filtration and water treatment are for drinking water where there are options of carbon cartridges and RO systems, these applications would also include plumbed-in water coolers.

Sites where immunocompromised patients, elderly residents or where an outbreak of Legionella or other bacteria has occurred, the best and quickest solution is the use of shower and tap filters that remove bacteria at the POU.
